VALERIE TURRENTINE, MPA
Washington State Department of Social and Health Services

BIO
I'm a growth-oriented systems thinker with extensive experience in homeless services, low-income housing, behavioral health, aging and disability. Passionate about the development of engaged social service systems in which stakeholders at all levels find shared meaning and purpose in serving our state’s most vulnerable individuals.

I recently graduated from Seattle University with a Master’s in Public Administration. During that wild ride, I worked on some exceptional projects and had some great experiences. I’m grateful to the people who have guided me along the way, and am proud to share examples of my work. Take a moment to check out my portfolio and please feel free to reach out with any comments!

I think when people say they dread going into work on Monday morning, it's because they know they are leaving a piece of themselves at home. Why not see what happens when you challenge your employees to bring all of their talents to their job and reward them not for doing it just like everyone else, but for pushing the envelope, being adventurous, creative, and open-minded, and trying new things?
